学生在校行为责任 

Student Code of Conduct & Responsibility 

1. 每次都礼貌地称呼老师，如“某（姓）老师”。Student should greet the teachers respectfully, for example “Mr. or Ms. (last name)”.

2. 听从老师、学校管理人员的指导。Students should follow the teachers’ and school administrators’ instructions.

3. 不迟到，不早退。因故请假，应提前通知老师。如有缺课，一定要把落下的学习内容、笔记补上。Students should be at the classroom on time and not leave early. Student should let the teacher know in advance when he or she cannot attend the class. In case of missing classes, students should do everything he or she can to make up the work missed.

4. 上课时认真听讲，遵守课堂纪律，不讲与上课无关的话。Students should listen to the teacher carefully; abide by the rules of each class presented by the teacher; do not talk about anything not related to the class session.

5. 上课发言要举手,不懂就问老师。中文课上，最好讲中文。Students should raise his or her hand should they have questions or seek help from the teacher. In Chinese classes, students are strongly encouraged to speak or ask questions in Chinese.

6. 按时, 认真地完成作业。不懂就问父母。Students should finish homework on time. Seek help from parents if necessary.

7. 考试时，绝不作弊。Students should not cheat on quizzes or tests.

8. 关闭手机，不得在教室内使用手机及其他与课堂无关的电子设备。Students should turn off cell phones. It is prohibited to use phone or other non-learning related electronic devices during class.

9. 一般情况下，在学校里不得吃零食。如有需要，只能在老师指定的范围内休息和吃零食，吃完后打扫好清洁。Under normal circumstances, snacks are not allowed in the classroom. If necessary, students can take breaks and eat snacks in the designated areas by the teacher during recess. They should also keep the designated areas clean when they finish.

10. 不在教室和走廊奔跑，不大声喧哗。Running or yelling in any classroom or hallway is not permitted.

11. 不得在教学楼里使用带轮子的鞋滑行。It is prohibited to wear shoes with wheels in the school premises.

12. 爱护公共设施和公共财产。未得许可不得动用学校的物品。不能在桌子和墙上涂鸦。如有损坏公物必须按市价 赔偿。Students should protect the school properties. No personal use of school property without permission. No doodling on desks or walls. Parents will be asked to pay for any school property damages caused by the student.

13. 保持教室干净、整洁，不乱扔纸片。课后把掉在地上的纸片扔进垃圾桶。Students should keep the classroom clean and without litter.  Please throw any scraps on the floor into garbage cans after class.

14. 与同学友好相处。不打架，不威胁同学和老师，不骂人，不讲坏话。Students should be friendly to their classmates. They should not fight, cuss, threaten or insult anyone in the school.

15. 禁止带武器或毒品到学校。一经发现，立即开除。Students should not carry weapons, drugs, or any other malicious items to school. If students are found with any items of this sort, they will be expelled immediately.

16. 放学后在规定的地方等父母（或父母指定的人）来接。如果没有人接，就留在学校跟老师或值班人员在一起。Student should stay at designated locations after class waiting for their parents or people granted by their parents. In case no one comes to pick them up they should either stay with their teacher or the on-duty school administration team member.

17. 课堂纪律问题由老师处理。大的问题（如故意捣乱，恶作剧打911电话，故意损坏学校财产，玩电梯，威胁或伤害其他同学，等等）由学校处理并通知学 生家长。情节严重者可导致开除。The teacher has the right to handle the disciplinary issues during the class session. If a student’s misconduct becomes severe (such as intentionally disrupting the order of class, calling 911 as a hoax, deliberately damaging school property, playing with elevators, threatening to or causing harm to other people at school, etc.) the student will receive disciplinary action up to expulsion from the school depending on the level of seriousness.
