Course Description
课程内容：
- This is the first level of CSL for students who are interested in learning Chinese but with no prior knowledge of the language.
- This class will start with vocabulary of numbers, nature and weather, comparison, body, family, animals and plants. Age and/or developmental stage-appropriate learning activities will be designed to aid the learning process.
- By the end of two-semester learning, students will learn at least 60-80 Chinese characters and how to read/write them, plus basic daily expressions and the culture behind it.
- Parents are encouraged to take the class with their child(ren) so the students will have learning “partners” sharing their learning at home.

苏丽清老师个人介绍
My name is Susan and I’m excited to join AnnHua Chinese school as a Chinese as a Second Language teacher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English from Fujian Normal University in China, and I am currently working with special education students at Ann Arbor Public Schools.
I’m also a proud parent of two young children and have a deep passion for sharing Chinese language and culture with others. I believe learning a new language should be fun and meaningful, and I look forward to creating engaging, hands-on experiences for our students.

我叫丽清，很高兴加入安华中文学校的团队，担任中文作为第二语言的老师。我拥有中国福建师范大学英文专业的学士学位，目前在安娜堡公立学区从事特殊教育学生的工作。
我也是两个年幼孩子的妈妈，非常热爱分享中国语言和文化。我相信学习一门新语言应该是有趣而有意义的，我期待为孩子们创造生动有趣、动手参与的学习体验。
