Ann-Hua Math Clubs

Missions:

  1. Boost enthusiasm for math and have fun
  2. Improve problem-solving skills
  3. Expand visions
  4. Gain a profound perception of mathematics and the world around us

Objectives

To create a supportive environment for learning

To prepare students  for math competitions

To provide opportunities for students to work together on mathematical projects, activities, and games

To make new friends with others who share a love of math

Math Olympiad Talent Club

Schedule: Saturday 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Grade Level:

  • Middle School Division: Grades 5–8
  • High School Division: Grades 9–12
Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation or placement test; prior experience with math competitions is strongly encouraged
Schedule: Weekly sessions (exact time TBA)

The Math Olympiad Talent Club is a selective program designed for talented and highly motivated students with a passion for mathematics and a desire to excel in competition-level problem solving. The club is divided into two levels to support students at different stages of their mathematical journey:

  • Middle School Division focuses on preparation for contests such as MOEMS, MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8, and beginner-level AMC 10. Students will explore advanced topics in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics, with an emphasis on creative problem-solving techniques and strategic thinking.
  • High School Division is geared toward students preparing for more advanced contests such as AMC 10/12, AIME, and USA(J)MO. Sessions will cover topics in polynomials, inequalities, modular arithmetic, combinatorics, geometry, and advanced number theory, while developing students’ ability to handle proof-style and Olympiad-level problems.

Each session promotes collaboration, persistence, and deep thinking. Students will engage with challenging problems, learn from each other, and be mentored by experienced instructors. The goal is to foster mathematical excellence and help each student reach their full potential in a supportive and rigorous environment.
