Course Description
Description
The objective of the course is to provide fundamental classical ballet training for children aged 4-7 years old. The students will be introduced to the discipline and hard work required in ballet, while also learning important life skills. Although ballet is a challenging form of dance, students will gain knowledge and techniques that can be useful in their daily lives. Each class, which lasts for an hour, will introduce the young dancers to new ballet steps and combinations, culminating in a final performance at the end of the course.
本课程的目标是为4-7岁儿童提供基础古典芭蕾舞训练。该课程将从最简单的芭蕾基本动作开始，带领学生们从手部、脚部的基本位置，初步认识芭蕾的基本动作与术语, 介绍新的芭蕾舞步和组合, 通过一些基础律动让学生感受到舞蹈的快乐,同时也学习到重要的生活技能。每节课持续一个小时，在课程结束时进行一场表演。尽管芭蕾舞是一种具有挑战性的舞蹈形式，但是学习舞蹈将让孩子们受益终身。

吴憬怡 Jessica wu Biography
Jessica Wu (吴憬怡) has been mastering multiple dance styles, including ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, and even traditional Chinese dance, but her true passion lies in ballet. Under the guidance of the Cecchetti method, she has been studying ballet for the past 12 years and is currently in Grade 6. Throughout her journey, she has participated in numerous competitions such as CRU regionals and nationals, and Legacy Dance Championships, achieving top ranks in all three. Her love for the art of dance extends to performing, having gained experience in various productions, including The Nutcracker and Benefit Show, a recital for charity. Jessica's skills have earned her national scholarships, and she is excited to attend the fully-paid West Coast Dance Explosion national convention in Florida this summer. Her teaching abilities are also noteworthy, having worked with children as a coach for King Elementary School's nationally awarded Academic Games team. Jessica's future plans include pursuing a minor in dance and sharing her knowledge and passion for dance through teaching this summer.

张君老师简介
大家好，很高兴跟大家见面。张君老师有多年海外中文教学经验，长期致力于海外华裔及非华裔学生的中文教育。曾在美国多所学校教授中文及中国文化，教学对象涵盖学前班至九年级学生，教学内容从基础汉字、拼音，到中华文化知识，形式灵活、内容生动，深受学生喜爱。
张老师注重以学生为中心的教学理念，擅长将游戏、绘本、项目式学习融入课堂，提高学生的学习兴趣和语言实际运用能力。同时，也积极参与中文学校管理与社区文化活动推广，具有丰富的组织协调和跨文化沟通经验。
作为对外汉语教育者，张老师始终秉持“寓教于乐、文化先行”的理念，致力于在海外传承与推广中华语言文化。
