Course Description
课程内容:
These lessons are customized and tailored for learners interested in learning Chinese based on their own learning needs.
Instructors will create a more detailed teaching/learning plan with each learner.
The customized class can be online or in-person, depending on the preference worked out between the teacher and the learner(s).
So can the class time be arranged based on the schedule both teacher and learner(s) agreed upon.
Summer tuition must be paid in one payment before instruction is started.
Tuition for the whole school year (1 hour/week for 33 weeks) can be paid at the registration, or a more customized plan can be set up if more hours are needed within the 33 weeks of the school year.

孙瑜 Noelle Sunyu Biography
Ph.D. in Art History from Nanjing Normal University.
Associate Professor at Donghua University, Shanghai China until 2007.
Columnist for Art World and News Report Shanghai until 2007.
Taught Art History courses at Eastern Michigan University and Albion College from 2011 to
2016. Taught Chinese Beginning at Eastern Michigan University in the fall of 2015. Have been
teaching Chinese language at PCCLC and Annhua Chinese School since 2012. Professional

While working as a full time IT Professional, teaching is my passion. To me, Chinese language
is not just a communication tool, it is art, it is music, and it is the vehicle that can take us to a
wide world, the world that will expand our vision of who we are and who we can be.
在我多年的教学生涯中，我最喜欢引用《温迪嬷嬷讲述绘画的故事》[Sister
Wendy’s Story of Painting]前言中的一段话：“爱与知识携手并进。当我们心生喜爱，我
们总想去了解。如果这本书能将读者引向更多的阅读、更高的见识、更深的爱，当然，还
有更大的快乐，便是它的成功。”我想我也可以把这句话改成：如果我的课堂能将同学们
引向更多的阅读、更高的见识、更深的爱，当然，还有更大的快乐，便是它的成功。”
我相信，对于少年人来说，一个好的教师是一个看得见风景，会引领你去寻幽探胜
的导游。通过语言学习的路径，我们的眼前会展现出一幅幅历史文化的风景地图。希望通
过语言的学习，我们能够初步感知跨语言的思维之乐。心中有风景，前方便有无限可能性。
李榕 Rong Li Biography
1. 汉语言文学专业毕业并获教育学硕士学位
2. 1989—2012年 南昌大学抚州医学分院 一直从事语言教育 工作（大学语文，英语）
3. 2005--2012 年 南昌大学抚州医学分院 组织并参与大学英语培训工作
4. 2012—现在 安华中文学校 先后担任暨大4年级，11-12年级，马力平2年级，中文阅读3-5级，中文写作等课程。
5. 2018年获华文教育专家委员会颁发的《华文教师证书》
