Chinese New Year Event at Downtown Ann Arbor District Library 2016
We have a very successful Chinese New Year Event on 1/30 at Downtown Ann Arbor District Library, with more than 250 participants. We have a story about Chinese New Year, Chinese folk ribbon dance by our students, waist drum performance by our parent team, and the popular Lion Dance. Activity stations include calligraphy bookmark making, paper cutting, lantern and red pocket crafts, and waist drum demostration. Let's share the joy of Chinese New Year and help to promote diversity and Chinese culture in our local communities!
